The bottom has a football playing surface. On the flip side of the alder box is the playing surface pittin the Naval vs the Army acadamys. Each squere has either a either an anchor pair or an army graphic. The playing surface is made of steel. The pieces are made of polished solid pewter,one side is painted gold and the other side polished silver. The option to the pewter pieces are wood.
